The Co-Founder of BOCACO started a project with us after trying to build their Series B pitch deck in house.
Their in-house designer did an okay job with the visuals, but the narrative turned into a mess because no one on their team actually knew how to craft a pitch deck story that works.
Setting the Project's Strategic Direction
So, we got to work. We began with the narrative because that is how our agency operates. We do not touch design until the content is locked and the client signs off on it. We mapped out the full deck composition and decided exactly what deserved to be in the story.
Since this startup works in a heavily regulated industry, we had to think ahead about the objections investors would raise and weave those answers directly into the content structure from the start.

If you look at the slides, you will notice the content sits at the right balance. There is enough information for someone to read the PDF on their own and get the story, but not so much that it overloads the slides when the client presents it live.

Presentation Design with Custom Illustrations and Unique Concept
The client came with a strict brand color palette, so we used that as the foundation. But the illustrations you see throughout the deck, including the subtle cannabis leaf background theme, were fully custom crafted by our design team. This level of detail created a unique design concept that feels premium and complete. It is the kind of finishing touch that makes a pitch deck stand out, which matters a lot when the stakes are this high.

Simplifying Complex Concepts & Data Visualization
Because the industry is heavily regulated and the startup has years of financial activity behind it, the Series B deck came with some complicated ideas and a lot of numbers. We made both easier to understand. We built custom diagrams to unpack the regulatory environment and clean charts to highlight the company’s financial performance.

The client was so happy with the work on this deck that they returned with another project, this time for their subsidiary that produces fabrics. We went on to build their other seed funding pitch deck as well.
